Days and Hours of Operation
Our Center is open Monday through Friday year round with the exception of the following holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Good Friday
- Easter Monday
- Memorial Day
- 4th of July
- July 3rd (Monday before July 4th)
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Thanksgiving Friday
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
- Day After Christmas
- New Year’s Eve
Mt. Airy Daycare and Learning Center, Inc. will close three additional days for staff Professional Development. These days are subject to change based on the availability of professional development.
Beginning June 2026, our hours will be 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Preschool with Extended Care – operates all year around - Monday – Friday
Preschool Programs operate from September through May.
A listing of the days the Center and Preschool Programs are scheduled to close will be printed annually and provided in the monthly newsletters from the Director. The days the Center closures may change or differ from year to year at the discretion of the owner.
