Registration for the 2024-2025 school year is coming soon!
Mt. Airy Daycare and Learning Center will begin registering new families for the fall on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024. New families registering a child(ren) can do so on this date by using the Google Registration Form that will be emailed to you that morning.
If you are interested in being on our mailing list, please contact the office at 301-829-6364 or emailing us at director@mtairydaycare.com. We will get your email address to contact you on the 23rd.
We will be filling our classes to full enrollment. If we do not have a spot for your child, we will notify you as soon as possible. The registration fee of $65 is non-refundable.
Alumni families (previously enrolled families including children of parents that attended MADLC and siblings of previously enrolled students) can register prior to the public registration on January 22, 2024.
We are licensed with the state’s Office of Child Care (license #47525) and are accredited with the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE). We also participate in Maryland Excels.
Our school will continue to accept registrations following our initial registration if openings remain in the program. Parents can call the school office at 301-829-6364 for more information. You can set up a tour and/or request an informational brochure. You can also contact the school’s Director, Michelle Rippeon by email at director@mtairydaycare.com.

Preschool 3's: Tuesday/ Thursday 9:15 AM- 12:15 PM
PreK 4's: Tuesday/ Thursday 9:30-3:30
PreK 4's: M/W/F 9:15 AM- 12:15 PM (with an optional add on lunch bunch!!)

Welcome to Mt. Airy Daycare and Learning Center!
We are a Preschool and Learning Center that serves children ages 18 months through 14 years. We are licensed with the State of Maryland and are renewing our state accreditation with the State of Maryland this Spring. We have a highly qualified staff that are committed to providing the best early learning foundations for your children using developmentally appropriate practices in the classroom. We have a 2, 3 and 4 year old Preschool Program. Our Extended Care Preschool Program services families that desire a full-time preschool with extended hours during the day. We also have a wonderful School Age program. We provide transportation to Twin Ridge for our children that attend school there. Carroll County children can use the school bus that picks up at our center. Our school is located in the heart of Mt. Airy. Since 1992, Mt. Airy Daycare and Learning Center, Inc. has been privately owned by the Hauptman Family, residents of Carroll County MD. Being family owned we have avoided the business structure of larger nationally recognized childcare centers.
