Our center is ideally located within walking distance of the Mt. Airy Senior Center, Lorien Nursing Home, and Carroll County Public Library (Mt. Airy Branch).  We take many opportunities to provide our children with a variety of rich experiences.  Through visits to the nursing home and the Senior Center, the children bond and build relationships with older adults.  Both generations, the young and old, enjoy the opportunity to interact with one another.

In our prime location, we are able to take frequent trips to the library, where the children can enjoy books, check out media material, participate in storytimes, and experience puppet shows.  This is just an extension of the classroom which enriches their literature experiences.

Additionally, our center takes great pride to help those less fortunate in our community.  Throughout the year, we collect donations for local non-profit organizations, such as the Mt. Airy NET.  We also organize food and clothing drives for local families that are faced with catastrophic and life-changing circumstances.

Lastly – since 1992 we love supporting our local youth programs such as Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and our community Sports Associations of all ages, we have watched our children grow into wonderful young adults and welcome the opportunity to support them in their endeavors.
